The State of Oregon has officially opened the application portal for its new $10 Million Regional Infrastructure Fund (RIF). Designed to support small and rural communities across the state, the funding targets critical local infrastructure projects aimed at boosting economic development and long-term livability.
Community leaders from rural counties are encouraged to submit project proposals for local utilities, public works, and business district improvements. State officials noted that investing directly in small-town infrastructure remains essential for balancing regional growth and supporting workforce expansion across rural Oregon.
